V8 FD's

Just wondering how many V-8 FD's are on this board. I have seen a few people on LS1tech.com have done the swap with a LS1.

I put a deposit down on an FD. Assuming the whole deal goes through then yea, I'm going to build the LS1/T56 combo as a daily driver and either sell the FC or use it as a track only car.

Me too.

Picked up the car two weeks ago for $6500, and picked up a complete 99 LS-1/T-56 swap today for $2500. Hope to have it running in about a month or two.

What are you guy doing for Cylinder heads? I work at a CNC head shop here in Michigan so I can hook you guys up pretty good. I have been thinking about the LS1 swap too, but just haven't decided yet. Well pm me or post here and I'll let you guys know.

Saw this thread and remembered I needed to update it - I picked up the FD a couple weeks ago and am currently searching for an LS1 drivetrain for the right price. Anybody want to buy an FC with a small block in it?

I had 3 guys in a Honda Civic trying to race me tonight coming up the road. They pulled up next to me as the light changed, and the guy gunned it. I just looked, laughed, and took off. When they caught up to me at the next light, they had a video camera - one guy was holding it out the window yellin "spin your tires, dude!"
