MO Trans problem or cable?

So today is my second day after getting my 4l60e(full rebuild good fir 700hp) back into my rx7. Can is just running a safe rich tune right now before i can get it dyno tuned. now the problem i am having is in drive, i have all the gear. when I pull the B&M pro stick back, the lowest I can get is second and I have to slide down into first to get it into second. is my shift cable not adjusted right?

Thanks for any input.

I have this same issue with my stock auto trans and am wondering the same thing. Is it just my shift cable that messed up for the trans?

sorry not trying to thread jack but have a similar issue.
