th350 to t56 swap help?

has anyone done this conversion or something similar? I just got my first FD a month or so ago. its got an ls based 402 stroker, th350 and a built 8.8. i'm swapping in a COMPLETE t56 pullout of a 01 Camaro. do I need to change trans brace? can I use the fbody pedal and master cylinder or do I need to get the FD ones? do I need to swap brake pedal? any other hints/advice is appreciated!!!

I'd imagine you would need to make a new transmission crossmember. If it were me, I'd use as much FD parts as possible. All the pedals, booster, master, etc. is already set up. I'd try and find all of the FD parts and put them in. You know that stuff will all just bolt right in. To try and use the F-body stuff, in my opinion, is creating unnecessary work and may require some custom pieces. If you use the FD stuff you'll always be able to go to the parts store for a replacement if something ever needs replaced. I'm saying this under the assumption that these Mazdas utilize hydraulic clutches.

Keep in mind you'll need to have a driveshaft made after the swap.
