Ok guys I had a meet at my home on Labor Day, there were 5 cars and 7 owners. Since I gave such a short notice I caught a little flack from people that wanted to come but notice was too short. There were at least 10 other cars that would have been here if I had given more than a 24-hours notice. Even still there was a guy from FL that was here LT1 10AE.
Ok here is your 7 month notice.
I will host yet another RX-7 V-8 meet at my home. I do not have a large house but I do have a giant yard. I’m not well off like Danzan149 so I can not offer Steaks and Beer. I will however provide burgers and hot dogs might even smoke a couple butts like last time as well as plenty of cold drinks along with a few beers.
Since I have added it to my signature I have had people from all over the country asking if they can come. HELL YES is my answer. Memphis is centrally located for the entire US for the most part.
I have had people from CA NY TX FL AL TN KY OH MS VA that expressed an interest.
Even Danzan149 is willing to drive his FD from Santa Ana CA. I was just there last week for his bash and Seven Stock 8. What a blast that was.
I would like to get an idea of who might attend so post here if you think you might be able to attend. The last event we did not do anything besides eat and drool over each others cars.
Like I said I do not have a big house but I do have 3 acres to park cars and pitch a tent if you want.
This is not the only post I will make about this I just wanted to get a rough idea of what to plan for.
As time gets closer I will ask the MOD to do a sticky for me with a roll call if you will.
I just need to know if I need to rent porta pottys and buy a whole cow to
cook.
Our home is in Hernando MS 38632 15 miles south of Memphis TN. Hey we have a Wal-Mart and a Autozone. (not until this year) but we have them now.
Here is the best rates I could get on Hotels in Hernando MS.
Days Inn 52.00 + tax (662) 429-0000 Junction of 304 and Interstate Highway 55, Hernando, Mississippi 38632
They only have 40 rooms and 9 are already booked for MAY 27th and 28th.
HEMAN yes HE MAN is the contact. But, you can make reservations with anyone that answers the phone. Be sure you tell them My real name for that discount other wise rate will be 75.00. If you call and reserve a room with a CC you have until 6pm May 26th to cancel. I would suggest calling soon to avoid the rush.
If you do not know my real name please PM me. do not really want to post it.
They are right beside the interstate 55 about 5-6 miles from our home.
These people were nice and rate includes a Cont breakfast.
Super 8 Motel 662-429-5334 2425 Sloans Way, Hernando, MS 38632
They are newer and have a few more rooms but, there best price was 60.00 + tax. I do not think you will need anything there but to call and reserve. They were not the most freindly folks
If you do not like either of these try to find something in Southaven, Horn Lake or Olive Branch. Memphis is not the BEST place to stay if you want your car to be there in the morning and you want to sleep. There are certainly no shortages of rooms in these areas but, are about 12-15 miles from our home.

man, are you crazy?????? what are you gonna do if you get all the rx7's in the area over there....1---2 hundred maybe.!!
why don't you run an add in usa today...
