Recommendations for shippers for LS1

Does anyone have any suggestions on shipping companies for LS1s? Shipping from Cali to New Jersey.

Who did you use and how was the service and price?

where in ca? i live in salinas, and the company that shipped mine was quick to ship all the way from mississippi. this company is in Fremont, CA. try calling Oak Harbor Freight Lines (1-800-909-6704). the shipping will probably be in the 650-700 (?? i would talk to them first). then somewhere along the central US, they'll switch to South Eastern Freight Lines ( http://www.sefl.com/ ).

I am in NJ, but the motor is coming from Concord, CA. It is just a 02 LS1 no tranny. You think shipping will be that much, I was told between 300-400.

ohhh ok then yeah, should be around there if it's just the block without the tranny. call them and see how you can do this or how much they charge.
