I have yet to see an intelligent, rational reason against the swap. Everything that I've seen is assumptions or BS that fall by the wayside when any techinical research is done.

I bet that if some BIG WIG rotary guy in japan would do the ls1 swap then all the mindless idiots would jump on the band wagon. I can see it now " dude i like heard they were doing it in japan so it must be the best thing for the twisties yo , im gonna do it"

besides what woman isnt going to want a man with a LS1/FD, providing they know that it'll beat the **** outa most production vettes.
I have to agree there. That FD would turn more heads with it's actions any day.
