Haven’t posted in a very long time... Hoping to get this back together and on the road this summer to enjoy some shows again.

1986 RX7 (FC3S), purchased the car while stationed in Japan and brought it back to the US. 6.2L and 6L80E from 2014 Camaro swap recently!

I really wish I could confidently get a hood like this on my car. Had a genuine RE Amemiya but it didn't clear in way to many spots so I decided to sell it instead of cutting/trimming it up.

Agreed! Work equip 05s. They look fantastic on that car. I had the same wheels on my MR2 Turbo and they are definitely one of the best wheel designs of all time imho!

It's a blast to drive, gets lots of looks from those not expecting to hear the V8 rumble.
New build pics: 12-30-23

Update: New build: New crate LS376/480, suspension, exhaust, rear end, etc…

Build performed by one of, if not the best, Charlie at Mazcare in Marietta Ga.

Thanks. It was custom made at Mazcare using 3d printer technology. Car has Ronin cooling system, though when system was purchased they had not developed all connection hose/intake connections. Charlie at Mazcare is really great.

^^ digging the exhaust as well. Bet it sounds sick and the neighbors probably don’t like it. 😂

Hahaha. It does sound awesome. While I know the upgraded "hot cam" I got is not what some people would have recommended, it does add a little to the sound of it as well, plus about 50 hp.
For my needs (street not track use) close to 500hp is enough for me. I'm an older guy who doesn't really get on it too much like some of the youngsters around here. Now my son...may be a little different story haha.
Can't wait to let the neighbors hear it (like it or not), fortunately got a couple of car guys close by so they'll probably be fine with it. Unfortunately, car is still at Mazcare at this moment. I went down and drove it and took some pics a couple days ago, still a couple of additions not done yet like adding AC, a horn and getting some final dyno numbers. Really does run and sound great, scary fast for me. It will lose grip even up in top of third if you really get on it.

It's getting really close to me bringing her home, hopefully couple more weeks.

Thanks for comment!
