Picture of T56 mounted in FD pls.
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone had any T56 tranny shots, of the shifter from inside the cabin, like when all is said and done. All the pictures i've seen so far (via web and searching), the shifter looks like it's sticking 1 foot in the air from the shift boot/base. If anyone can post any pictures of their shifter, please! Also note if you have a short shifter mounted or not.
Much appreciated!
Chris

I'll have to dig around for pictures, not sure if I took one of that. I had to notch about 1 inch of the the floorpan (basically enlarged the shifter hole in the floor a bit in the front). I used a short stick from ws6store.com and used a piece of flat steel to relocate the shifter back 1 inch. As it sits now, it's ALMOST exactly where it needs to be, and the stock shifter boot fits. I just noticed the other day if I hit 3rd gear hard the boot wants to move, so I guess I need to adjust it a little more.

Or are you going to bolt that T56 to a 20B (3 bad doritos?)?
