That sucks!! So Hinson takes around a year to complete a turn-key, how long does Pyro take? I am no mechanic, so I rely on others to do the work.

Sorry if this comes across like an ***.... but I already own what seems to be a $500 paper weight due to excessive flexing which could eventually lead to fatigue failure depending on use. Shame on me for not looking further into the product before buying.

this frame looks like it would allow for quite a bit of torsional bending. But can you expect any less out of Jim?

Jim was the guy who produced that worthless pile of craps call Unobtanium bushings from years back. Of course what do you expect out of a software engineer, along with thousands of other engineers producing vaporware crap like Vista?

I wouldn't trust LaBreck products with a 10 foot pole.

Like I said, his designs look good on paper with no real engineering analysis. Pieces of Sh*t usually.

Good thing you were not around encouraging the Wright brothers. We would still be riding horses to Hawaii

But of course you're not an engineer, so we can quickly dispense with your unqualified opinion and move on.

But can you expect any less out of Jim?
Apparently not as reliably as we can expect you to whine. What's it been now, 5 years of crying? 6? 7? You win. If there's a trophy, it's all yours.

Jim was the guy who produced that worthless pile of craps call Unobtanium bushings from years back.
That 27x other people managed to make work, and which spawned a knock-off design that 100+ other people have now bought and which is still in production...

Of course what do you expect out of a software engineer, along with thousands of other engineers producing vaporware crap like Vista?
Vaporware is non-existent software that exists only in marketing hype. You can actually buy Vista, and it works just fine if you're smart enough to know how to manage drivers. You know, those 3rd party pieces of software that make other vendor's hardware work properly with the operating system...

I wouldn't trust LaBreck products with a 10 foot pole.
Luckily you're not in the market anyway.

BTW, are you actually a patent attorney, or do you just work in a patent attorney's office and promoted yourself beyond your actual duties? I'd think a successful patent attorney could probably afford to buy a set of stock bushings and have them installed so he could quit bitching about a product that was never certified as being intended for street use anyway...

What the hell man, why is it that whenever Jim makes something here, and there is ANY doubt in ANY persons mind here it just becomes a bandwagon of retarded misconceptions built upon each other?

Jim if you want I can put this through solid works and shut these haters up. Or I mean you could give them formulas for torsion of arbitrary cross sections and tubes.

Anyhow I back your design looks solid and simple.

Man...some forums... start a new thread and get told to search... search for an old thread and get chastized for that...

Justin Samberg of Samberg Rod and Custom is who is now selling this design of subframe. He also has a range of other products for the V8 FD. I have his Mazda rear diff cradle and the JimLab/Dynotested version of this subframe.

I fully endorse Justin and his products! He is making some really nice stuff for the LSx FD community. Take a look at his sponsor page, first thread, over at

Samberg’s subframe is essentially Jimlab’s.

http://www.v8rx7forum.com/samberg-ro...-parts-fd.html

You can probably contact Jimlab on that forum.

Contact Justin. He's the producer of the only authorized copies of my engine cradle and Cobra IRS conversion kit, and he's the only one without the part fitment (not to mention failures) and delivery problems the other vendors all seem to have.
