MD New to the game

Just bought a 1990 FC GTU mid LS swap. Car doesn't run and didn't have a trans.

Motor is a 2001 Vette LS1 and most of the parts for the swap are from Hinson. Still a few things on the list to get.

Clutch & Flywheel
Hinson Powersteering kit
...???

Picked up a T56 already with throw out/ slave and handy stainless steel lines and master attached, though I already have a Wilwood master cyl.

Body of the car is in rough shape and I need a few things for it to come back "clean". Starting primarily with passanger side door and fenders. For the rear I'll run overs. Once I get it on the street and moving under it's own power, I'll be looking to do things like and improved racing baffled pan and start in on chassis/suspension work.

Primary purpose will be to slide, (that there skid racin') but I want to be able to street the car as well.

Thought's, suggestions? ?

Beef up your rear end. The torque from my V8 broke my front diff mount within a few weeks. It'll also stiffen the rear up a bit.

Yeah I already have the LS1 T56 out of a 99 Camaro and for now I'll be using the stock Diff, eventually I'll be getting the Ronin Speed kit and moving to a Ford Exlorer rear end.

First most emportantly is getting it running.

Since I never bothered before here are some pictures.
