Need Wiring Help

This is my first big project and I’m doing a Sbc 350 swap into an fc. Right now I’m using the instructions from granny speed shop but I need some extra help trying to understand the wiring. I understand very little of what wires I need and don’t but I really don’t know what to do with the wires I still need from other harnesses. Just looking for tips and pointers to help me get in the right direction. Thank you!

id try Norotors.com or go on facebook and join their page and ask that on there. Much more support for that particular swap on there. The sbc is so common id also consider looking on protouring.com and see how they wire them into the older cars.

Hey there! It's great that you're tackling this project! When doing an SBC 350 swap into an FC, wiring can be a bit tricky but manageable. To start, identify the essential wires for your engine to run, such as power, ground, ignition, starter, and fuel pump wires. You might need to retain some wires from the original harness for functions like gauges, lights, and accessories. It's crucial to label and organize your wires to avoid confusion. If you encounter specific wiring challenges, feel free to ask for help or guidance. Good luck with your project!
