LS3 swap with AC

Hey folks, got a question on swaps with AC. Did you retain the factory RX7 AC or did you use something specific for the LS engine?

I just bought a car with a previous LS swap and they did the standard AC delete on it. It is a 1993 R1 model if that makes a difference. I am wanting to put AC back on the car and I have found a complete AC removal from another 1993.

Is the RX7 AC the best way to go? Or do you recommend something different? I live in the south and I'm too old to be sweating my *** off in the summer.

I think most guys for the route of using condenser/dryer from the 7, compressor from the Ls or something that works with the Ls and custom lines

I believe most are using universal condensers and dryers, and retaining the RX-7 evaporator. They also utilize the LS compressor with custom lines. Perform a search at norotors.com for users halfspec and 7th heaven. Halfspec used to make the kits and I believe 7th heaven fabricates the wiring now. Halfspec also has PDFs for installations.
