LS2 rod knock

LS2 rod knock

ive heard that Ls2s rod knock at 37k and its the #6 main beaaring. im building the ls2 to drift is this a rumor or should i start saving?

It apparently has somwthing to do with oil pressure and oil starvation....

what causes ls2 to spin rod bearing - LS1TECH

Maybe upgrade the oil pump and/or port it for better flow...

i never heard of that and i know quite a few people with ls2's without any issues but most are built engines

I've also heard that ls1-2's get valve float which sometimes sounds like that also

Ls2 with built engines almost always have upgraded or modded oil pumps....

stock valve springs are the weekness of LS1/2 motors, but are cheap and easy to fix
