LS1/FD shopping list

LS1/FD shopping list
Ok, So assuming I have an FD, and I buy an engine/tranny/ecu/engine harness from a 98 fbody, then buy from hinson Modified Engine Sub-frame, Bump Steer Correction , Transmission brace, Tubular Torque Arm, Drive Shaft (Steel 18.25 lbs)
What else will I need to do this swap? Can the stock FD fuel pump work with a stock LS1 engine? What about the stock FD radiator? Remember, this is for a 100% stock LS1 swap other than intake and exhuast.
Also, is an LS1/FD 100% daily drivable if I want to? I suspect that it should be, but I want to see what others think. It wouldnt be my primary vehicle, I just dont want to build a dedicated race car that isnt realistic to drive very often (like I already have done before)
Thanks!

Just to briefly address what you've asked, no the FD fuel pump is not up to the task. Or I guess I should say the fuel system (not necesarily the pump itself). You at the very least need a fuel pressure regulator to increase the fuel pressure. The stock FD system provides ~3 bar of pressure (43.5 psi) and the LS1 wants to see 58 psi. Most people throw in a 255lph high pressure Walbro unit and are done with it.
Any aftermaket FD radiator would be fine (I'm using a Koyo). I wouldn't use the stock unit because of the plastic endtanks.
No problems with using the FD as a daily driver. I did just that for 4+ months after getting it built. Creature comforts like AC are possible, as is power steering.
Good luck with the swap.

Any idea how long it normally takes to be able to post over on torquecentral? I registered over there like 3 weeks ago but I still cant post... (hence why I'm here)
Or do you know a site mod/admin I could email asking why I still cant post?
Thanks for the info, I hadnt ran across the fuel pressure issue.
Excellent info that you daily drove it. I am switching from one is essentially a purpose built drag racing miata which was 10 second 1/4 capable to this car. I figure this car wont be as fast (at least at first) but I figured I would be able to actually drive this one on the street regularly.

I would try registering again. IIRC I got an immediate account confirmation email, and then I was good to go.

mbaskett or yyz28 would be a decent place to start. Both have responded to messages I've sent them quickly in the past.
