So Dave, just remember no funky engine swap info is needed to be posted here in the 2nd gen tech section.
Ahhhhhh... feels good to be in the same section as fellow non-rotary swap'ees!

Anyway, here's another story of a FC V8 swap. Those interested, please follow along and enjoy the ride. This should get interesting

The new motor is being built. I'll post pics when it's in to keep you in suspense

I'm pulling the rear end next weekend and going torsen LSD from a Miata (got a very good deal)

I'm also dropping the fuel tank: going fuel cell in the rear.

Relocating battery to spare tire wheel well.

While the motor is out, I'll have it sprayed with the new color of the car. Don't ask what color. You'll see when I post pics.

Right now though I'm looking for a manual rack and pinion set up. So I guess I'll go look now.

i got a great deal on a manual rack from www.car-part.com

i had previously tried and tried to find a manual rack on a couple of rx-7 forums but they are pretty few and far between, not to mention they reguarly go for more than i paid for mine including the cost to ship it across country.
