Wires you Need
A 2nd gen car will need most of the same wires as 1st gen. On my 1984 GSL / 302 conversion, the main wire bundle to the engine had 17 wires, I used 6 of them. You need the connections to the temp sensor, oil pressure sensor and 3 wires to the alternator, a 2-wire plug and the small bolt -on power wire. I also used the separate temp sensor and power wires for the choke solenoid , which you don't have on the injected car. You will also need the distributor connections.
If you go to Granny's web site, there are detailed instructions for the wiring hookups - I found it helpful.
