i have a safcII and am doing a 302 conversion help

i have a safcII and am doing a 302 conversion help

im selling the safcII out of my car i didnt put it in and dont know how its installed

so the question is.......

if i take it out will i be disconecting vital wires for the swap or is it just "taped into" the original sorce instead of sploced into the wires??

o and its a 302 carberated

If its a 302 carby, you dont need those wires anyways.

The only wire that was cut was the airflow meter.

You won't need it.

Wires you Need

A 2nd gen car will need most of the same wires as 1st gen. On my 1984 GSL / 302 conversion, the main wire bundle to the engine had 17 wires, I used 6 of them. You need the connections to the temp sensor, oil pressure sensor and 3 wires to the alternator, a 2-wire plug and the small bolt -on power wire. I also used the separate temp sensor and power wires for the choke solenoid , which you don't have on the injected car. You will also need the distributor connections.

If you go to Granny's web site, there are detailed instructions for the wiring hookups - I found it helpful.

yeah i found all the wires already i was just wondering if i would disconect any when i took out the safc
