Ok i looked into torque central.com and grannies!i have an 83 sbc 350v8 rebuilt with a four barrel carter carb,and under 20k miles on it,its currently in my truck with a three speed automatic transmission.now im starting to learn about these things and i was wondering what the tranny options were for this engine?i hear alot of numbers fly around but i dont know what they mean?if this thing was in my 87 fc i take it the three speed would be a no go huh?i already have a 3.9 rear end lsd because my car was an auto(gxl).so what would you guys do?
