Imo, there are some parts of the Samburg kit that are better and some items from Hinson that are better, I have both on my car. If I could only have one complete kit for a stock V8 I would go with Samburg.

I agree! My car came with an old hinson kit, I kept the subframe and trans mount but ungraded to the v3 samberg radiator. From what I have seen the samberg stuff is nicer quality.

I have pretty much everything Samberg offers for sale lol, nice stuff but I will say.......even his nice stuff is not direct bolt on, I had to drill out holes a bit in almost every piece, ratchet straps to get my subframe in and currently my rear diff mount hits my companion flange, still haven't come up with a solution on that one.

Hahaha, in retrospect I should have, but the plan was to have a bone stock LS1 FD and that never really happened lol.

That always seems like the plan, then you start saying I might as well upgrade this so I don't have to pull this back out and so on. Next thing you know it's all changed

I have a samburg kit with a ronin 8.8. All in all I have somewhere around 16k including the car. I did get my ls6 for extremely cheap. I did spend some money on gauges, went with speedhut and I love them. I would like to change to a samburg radiator, right now I'm running a mishimoto and it does the job, usually temps in the 190s but I would like the look and room the samburg offers.

We'll have the only kit on the market that utilizes an unmodified stock crossmember. The last thing you want to do is start chopping up and modifying your car in order to make the motor fit. At that point you're greatly compromising the integrity and functionality of the vehicle. Here at Sikky we make the parts fit the car, not the car the fit the parts. We've taken the time to properly develop and engineer a full swap kit that is essentially a direct drop-in solution.

Here's a little teaser shot of our engine mount production run, as well as our shop RX7 as it comes into the final stages of completion.

Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have! 410-780-0009 or sales@sikky.com Thanks!
Any update to your kits? I don't see anything listed on your site.

We just wrapped up the initial group buy at the beginning of the month and the kits will officially be on the site before the weeks end. If you're interested in discussing the setup further shoot me an email at sales@sikky.com

Thanks!

I bought my FD already partially swapped, came with a full samburg kit and a ls1/t56 combo. I had a ls6 from my totaled CTS-V so I sold the ls1 and put my ls6 in, I also swapped the stock 3.9 rear out for a Ronin 8.8 as I am planning on bigger power. I really didn't feel like screwing around with making all the stock gauges work so I dropped about 700 bucks on a set of speed hut gauges. Right now I am working on getting my A/C sorted all out (got all the lines and what not in, just gotta finish the wiring) So far I would say I am about 17k into it, that is with the car. I also have a set of JTR headers sitting in the garage, just waiting on cam to come in to put it all in at once. Next year I plan on buying a ls3 and swapping my ls6 into my wife's Miata.

My car set me back $25k. 2002 LS1/t56 with 50k miles. Hinson subframe, Samberg at the differential. I also painted the whole car.
