Every comment you've made in this thread defines butthurt **** talking.

The "RX" in RX-7 means "Rotary Sports" but for the piston swappers, it now means "Reciprocating Sports." This obviously constitutes a copyright infringement on Mazda's model name so here's where you can take your butthurt whining: http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/faq-infringement.html

You people hate on this type of stuff really need to get a life. You sound like sniveling babies. To think that this car is somehow a unique masterpiece in which the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts is such a rediculous notion to the majority. It's a mass produced car with a novel engine design. It's even still being produced today. So please STFU or else go and crusade against millenia owners doing swaps to relieve yourselves from the people that choose to do this to their OWN car.

Thats ******* amazing. How long do those engines last?

I'm building a EFI Turbo GPZ 1100 (the zx11 based gpz not the early 80's one). My absolute power goal on 100 oct is 300 HP. And about 250 on 91.

BTW not every rotary guy feels this way. I don't give a **** what you do to your car. It may not be my personal choice because I like the rotary, I grew up with my dad as a mazda mechanic and was fascinated with it from day one.

But good on ya if your successfull, and you like your car better.

Every car group has these people, I got some of the same BS when I went on a miata forum and asked about LSX miata conversions. Someone actually said, (you'll kill the handling).

On a good weekend, we'll run 10+ passes on one motor and it's fine. There are people who run them a season without breaking, and ours could likely last that long as well, but we don't take the chance. We travel to most races with 12-15 spare motors (between two bikes), and on a bad race we may go through 10+ of them; which at 30K for a new one, and 4-5K to fix one, gets pricey quick. We've had a bad season this year (comparatively speaking, we've set 3 world records and TQ'd won every race this year) as we had some fuel issues, and were killing 6-8 motors EVERY race. Makes for a tiring and expensive weekend.

Sounds like a heck of a toy you're putting together there, should definitely scoot. If you're ever in the area of an AMA/Prostar race, stop by and check us out, we're Team Spiderman, you can't miss us.

I would imagine that he bought the car then sold it to someone else. Ownership changing hands rather than a shared ownership.

You're a moron. That's all I really have to say.

And we can voice our opinions in return.

But just because it's an opinion doesn't make it right. If I said it was my opinion that all rotaries are slow and break all the time, and are ugly, would you respect that opinion without responding? I doubt it.

That, amigo, is one ******* horible thought.

Easy - First, Camaro doesn't handle nearly as good as any RX7 and is heavy as ****. Second, if I could afford a Vette, I would own that right now instead of my FD.
lol.... **** GM. Yours would probably fit their huge stretched out ******* too.

EDIT: you know what? I think I will go grab me one of the rarest vettes out there, and then swap a 20BTT into it, just for ***** and giggles.

One last thing:

Think about what the hell that is... HARD.

Go buy "the rarest Vette out there" and swap whatever you want into, I couldn't care any less - Why? It's your car.

Yeah "not my style," "to each their own" but you still post on the guys thread saying "another good fc bites the dust"? So fast and fun isn't good? Someone elses style is therefore bad? Grow up.

ok first off I think the whole debate is pointless and its not as if you are going to make EVERYONE on one side change their minds. BUT if takin a 13b? (my rx-7 didnt' have a rotary in it when I bought it) outta a fc makes them that much more rare would that be a good thing to you guys that own them? Like I am pretty sure from what I have read on boards about you guys that you love your cars and the engines more then anything and that you are going to keep them forever. So in the long run that would make the value of them go up even more. Just my 2 cents.
