Ummm dropping a Z06 into an FC? It would probably hurt the FC if you go dropping heavy cars on it like that.

that is what i was thinking, but he said "IN" so i am going to assume that he is going to be shrinking the Z06 and then enlarging it once inside the car?

i dont recomend this, i dont see how any good can come from this mod

what's funny is that a ls6 equipped 2nd gen would probably run right with your $50k 20b fd, but to each their own.

I've had people tell me that my car is sick, cool, awesome, undescribable, and a few other words. But nobody has ever said my car must be into bondage, whipping or any other type of hardcore fetish type stuff. Oh, you also spelled it wrong

If you've never did a motor swap before, then yes. A Z06 engine is alot different then a LS1 when swapping.

Well lets see, everything Hinson makes is for a fbody. The Z06 uses a fly by wire throttle, you have to swap ALL the accessories, oil pan, mounts, then get LS1 edit.

Don't be a smartass Jim.

You will have to swap the throttle body, accessory brackets, and the oil pan. Not sure about the mounts though.

If you're swapping an LS1 into an RX7 you're already dealing with a harness that has to be modified. Not to mention the hours of labor involved. Would swapping a few more accessories and electronics really be that big of a deal?

Welcome to the Forum RX7cowboy2005.

Allow me to take this oppertunity to help you out, before you really make an *** of yourself. If you'd read any of the threads this section, you'd know by now that the LS1 engine swap doesn't add much weight to the car. Furthermore, you'd have to be pretty stupid to think that ANY vehicle could have a 70/30 weight distribution. My 4x4 doesn't even break 60/40 and it's a pickup.

Please read up on a subject before you make more uneducated comments.

lol indeed.
man, if everyone on this board was better educated on the end product from an LS1RX7 swap, there might be less of these stupid threads. I can't wait to get my LS1FC Sport model to the corner weight scales in a few months!
