Does N1 Hood fit on ls1 RX7?

Just wondering if the N1 hood, the one with the two rows of slits and the scoop in the front, will fit on a 3rd gen rx7 that has an ls1 swapped in it??? If anyone has any experience or knowledage about this, I'd appreciate some input, thanks

Probably better off asking on torque central. If the hood doesn't fit, maybe you've got the wrong engine in there?

I have a scoot, but I don't have my LS1 (Yet), maybe ask again in a couple of months... non-the less I always though the scoot center opening would make a killer CAI.... but it sits to far back to make it effective for the stock airbox... it'd be like making a "Z" too many angles... I think you'd have to bastardize it as well for the LS1 since you can't just stick an air filter at the end.... maybe if you flipped the intake runners around and tried to route the air to the rear and in....

Bottom Line... it'll be tight, and complicated....

a scoot hood wont close because of the tb on the ls1/ls2 but the hood can be modified to fit. from the front vent there is a middle section of duct all the way down the middle of the hood. you can cut a section of the duct to make it fit. pretty sure on this, i have the hood but havent got the motor installed yet.
