Clean FC with LS1 or Stock FD that needs a little work
I'm to the point now where I'm starting to weight my options.
Right now I have an 88 TII with a 3 rotor conversion that is nearly done and I have an 86 with a turbo II engine, trans and rear.
Im already going to have a BAD FC, so I was thinking of selling the FC for money towards an FD, but for the same money I could keep the FC and do a ls1 swap.
I know I may be asking a fairly partial group here.
Interestingly enough the LS1 seems to be the more practical route
pros being better gas mileage, better reliability at equivalent power output, highly upgradeable, faster. On the other hand the FD is sexier, fairly reliable in stock form, and will have a higher resale value.
I can feel the flames coming!!!
