Can anyone give me technical info about doing a v-8 swap on my 89 gtu.
I might be interested in doing a v-8 swap to my 89 gtu can anyone who has done it give me a price on a v-8 engine and the conversion kit and what would i have to change to do it all.

You can buy a nice SBC from GM for $2500. From what I understand you just need the conversion kit which is not that expensive, sbc motor mounts, trans mount, and a driveshaft. Oh yes and a lot of patience...
