Thank you.
Hey thanks man I appreciate it! I don't have much time to work on it so when I do I try to make it count. It's nice to hear people appreciate what I put into it.
So far I feel like I'm still on schedule to be able to drive it before the end of the year. I just dropped the drive shaft off to be modified today. Should get it back in about two weeks.

I agree. Your manifold turned out great. I have a KN intake from a Camaro but it's soo ugly. It looks like a wale dick so I'm not 100% sure yet. I'm sure I will use the 90 degree off the throttle body from the KN system for starters. If I get really fancy I may try to do a ram air from in front of the radiator but My main goal now it just to make it run and drive at all haha.

I'd ignore the "ram air" aspect of a OTR (over the radiator intake) and concentrate on the more useable/realistic aspects of the design...lower intake temps and the "free" horsepower that comes from ditching the 90° bend right at the throttle body.
When I do the swap on my FC, this is the intake I want:
It's a stock Camaro intake, modified to fit the FC.
Unfortunately, I have very little info about what model/year this is from but it's the most bitchin intake I've ever seen on a swapped FC.
FD guys are lucky, they can just drop in the Samberg kit and be done, we FC guys must be more creative.
Your job will be even harder because of the stupid oval LT1 throttle body flange but I'll bet you could figure something out (hint: a 4" coupler can be made to stretch over the oval...it won't like it but boiling it in water will show it who's boss).

The custom drive shaft is complete.
Custom drive shaft is complete. Length from center of U-joint to center of U-joint is 25 3/4"
This is a flange that supports a larger U-joint than the factory Mazda flange.
The total cost of modification and balancing including flange and U-joint was $143! Score.

clutch Slave/master cylinder setup.
This is the roll pin adapter fitting in the T56 clutch slave cylinder. It adapts the roll pin fitting to -3 AN.
Fitting from Nook and Tranny. Great place to do business with from my experience.

I did make it happen!
I got so busy with moving my new shop I never updated here! I did get it running and driving before the end of the year!!! It wasn't and still is not 100% finished but that was not my goal at the time. I just wanted to be able to drive it for the first time. I got to take it out several times. In fact, a police officer was dispatched on at least one occasion that I know of, on the hunt for a very loud V8 car up to no good. Coincidence i'm sure
I will post the video I took of it running on one of the last days of December. I am actually getting ready to start progress again in short order. Progress stopped at the end of the year but I have cleared up finances to do ALOT as of this week! The car has its own account just for this round of work haha!
