anyone install a SBF into an FC, with a/c?
I'm having a hard time finding answers to my problem. I'm installing a SBF into my '90 vert, and can't seem to figure out the radiator and a/c condensor mounting situation. Before someone asks, yes, it's very important to me to keep the a/c.
I purchased a/c condensor mounting brackets from Granny's Speed Shop, that relocate the condensor more forward. However, these brackets use the stock mounting points.
I bought a larger Griffin radiator, which would require me to cut off the sheet metal where the stock a/c condensor mount points are.
Som I'm trying to figure out a way to mount a larger-that-stock radiator, and keep the a/c. The Granny's radiator mounting kit is $455, which seems extremely overpriced to me; that's my last resort.
Any ideas?

seems that you reached an impass... either you loose the radiator and get a different one of those or get a smaller condensor and fab up your own mounts. and hoses...
have you tried to give them a call?? they are far more helpfull on the phone than there website is.

I've come up with a way to mount the condensor, but it won't be against the radiator (unless I mount it TO the radiator). And I think if I can find a metal supply place locally, I can make a radiator mount like this one:
