94 LS1 conversion on Ebay.

94 LS1 conversion on Ebay with a bid already at $38,900.00!Is this for real?I see much nicer 2 and 3 rotor FD's go for 15 to 20k less than this!
I just checked out the bidding and it looks like he has a couple of friends bumping the price up any time a legitimate bidder bids. He should be banned from Ebay!

yeah man that sucks... i HOPE an LS1 conversion can do 11.3... it only needs headers. lol.

my dad bought a great 73' vette on ebay, and it was totally legit and cheeeaaaap... but FDs on ebay are RIDICULOUS... im scared, since im in the market...

This descript. is funny... and w/ no mod list... LOL

"WE RAN THE CAR AT THE QUARTER MILE TRACK ONE TIME AND IT RAN 11.30 @ 118 MPH, GETTING NO TRACTION. IT WAS DYNOED AT 526 HP TO THE BACK WHEELS WITH 586 LBS. OF TORQUE. I HAVE DYNO SHEET TO PROVE THIS.

THE CAR STILL HAS A/C AND POWER STEERING. ALL FOUR TIRES ARE 285 X 30 X 18.

IF YOU HAVE ANY FRIENDS WITH VIPERS, VETTES (NEW OR OLD) OR FERRARIS, YOU CAN EASILY BLOW THEM AWAY WHILE THEY MAKE THEIR BLOATED CAR PAYMENTS AND LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK."

I admit that those aren't selling words for someone with 40k to spend.

i would love your car lupe. i hate you...lol

do you not want to take the time to part the car out or something? or do you just hate the idea of stripping such a well sorted out car? you could make quite a bit more with the parts dont ya think?

The first one looks like a scam. There have been better Ls1 conversions on ebay for 20-25K

interestingly enough, both of those members with 0 feedback have been members of ebay since mid to late 2005. i tried to look back into the sellers history to see if they had bid on any of his other auctions, but his other sales auctions were too old to still show up in ebay.

it is possible that these names have been created by the seller soley for the purpose of bumping the price of his items when he lists.

sounds bogus to me.

Traction or not, a 500+ whp car should be trapping higher than 118. I mean I've trapped 115 with ~350.

Lupe, I hate to think how unappreciated your car will be by the majority of people looking at it on ebay. Those of us who've been exposed to the car before and know a lot about it know that it's worth way more than what you're asking. I just know that a lot of the people who don't know the car won't appreciate the deal that is right in front of them.

**** that, for that price you could have a complete ls1 fd swap from hinsonsupercars and still have 25k to make 500+ horsepower. but hey there has to be some sucker out there that will buy just cause they have the dough.
