350 SBC and 2nd Gen Drag Roller VERT

I know it's not a Ford, but I have a Chevy SBC for sale.

I built this engine for my RX7, and some things have come up, and I need to sell it.

Details: It is a 350 bored .020" over. 4 bolt main, 2 piece rear main seal block. Crank is a newly machined .020" undersized. Rods are pinked GM rods, and pistons are Mahle flat top forged pistons. Bearings are all Clevite 77's, and rings are Perfect Circle. Block was cleaned up, I re-honed the cylinder walls and built it back up. Ring gaps were set per specs, and all of the bearings were plasti-gauged. Fel-pro head gaskets, and all other gaskets as well. Block was painted with Ceramic black paint, as well as the heads. Cam is a .500" lift Comp Cam (I have the exact numbers for you if you need.) Hudrolic lifters, and brand new push rods. Roller tipped Comp Cams rockers. Valve covers are brand new Protoform. Intake manifold is the Hurricane high rise, single plane manifold. Distributor is a BRAND NEW MSD Street Heat billet HEI distributor. I have a water pump for it. It is not in the pics. One piece oil pan gasket. Oil pump is standard, pick-up is matched to the pan from Summit Racing. Heads were ported by ARI Racing Engines (located in Kansas City, MO.) Valves are 2.02" and 1.60", with .500" lift Z-28 springs. These were just completely rebuild by ARI Racing Engines in Kansas City, MO. Valves, springs, valve guides, keepers, and retainers (ALL BRAND NEW.)

Pics below.

I'm looking to get $1600 out of this engine. You can have the stand with it.

Also, I have a 1988 Mazda RX7 Roller for sale. I truly hate to sell these things, but as I stated, I need to free up some $$$. RX7 is a Vert (cage is available from S&W Race Car), both 10 and 12 point is available. See pics below. This car can come with the Granny's 350 SBC installation kit if you would like ($250 extra.)

Car is dusty. Body is in great shape, and cleans up very nice. I was cleaning up in the garage before I took the pics. I will post more pics after I get a chance to clean it up this weekend. I assure you that it is MUCH nicer than it shows in the pics.

I am looking to get $500 out of this roller, and $750 with the Granny's Speed Shop installation kit.

Also, I have called both NHRA and my local drag race track Moroso, and both allow convertibles to be run without a top under 3 conditions.

1) arm restraints
2) full 10-12 pt roll cage
3) window nets (there are no side windows)

If I didn't need it to go fast or stop, I yanked it.

Yeah, sucks to see you have to sell your project. I was hoping to see something good come from this.

Pretty cheap asking prices...

I am moving from West Palm Beach, FL to Little Rock, AR. Job is moving me, but I can't take the car with me. The body sure is nice.

Cheap, I know, I need to sell them fast...

Thanks everyone for your help and support.

Man, I just moved to a town house and am also having to get rid of stuff. Otherwise I'd hit you up for the roller and kit for our vert.... As it is I have to figure out where I am going to put my travel trailer and 5 other cars.....
Good luck on your new venture.
Later,
Bill
