1983 shes lost her soul but grew some big bewbs
OK guys I think ill share my `83 rx7 with you guys...
Its near completion a labor of of love for about 3 years now its other only one with this engine ever built... nothing exstreemly crazy just different.
I'll let the pix explain most of what's going on:
Here she is in all of her non glory a dinged and dented lil' '83
Peminate sleepy eye I'm not crazy about he headlights but they will do for now. I want somthng a bit wider suggestions will be helpful. I did the sleepy eye because I was forced to get rid of the headlight motors due to lack of room...
The rear bumper has been demolded thanks to fiberglass and shaved to give it a more smoothed out look and also to make it look like there isn't moldings missing from the side, gives that complete look.
The body has been compleatly gone over my body guy carlos who is so miticious has spent over 90hrs so far on the body work!
At this stage the only thing before paint is to block the whole body with 180 then reprime and a final DA with 320 and she will be ready for paint Saturday she will be painted looking better than original
Revurse mount willwood master cyls so I could fit the engine in.... she's big! So no I'm not running a booster :-)
Motor mounts welded in.
Oh yeah its a modular mustang engine... the only 1st Gen to my knowledge that is modular ford powered.
Fire wall gap
A great fit! (If you don't mind not having a vacc assist)
Sexy time
Shifter fits nicely!
