to4b turbo n/a 96 mph melting tires.

Friday I went to the strip for the friday night races but they cancelled. Well I was waiting at the gate for them to open (got there a little early to let car cool) The owner came to me and said they had to cancel because it was raining about a hour before. But by the time I got there it was all nice and dry. So the owner told me I could make a few passes for free so I had to try it. I was hopeing to get a time slip but I didnt so I just went by my speedometer. I hit 96 mph @ 8psi no nos. I was pretty proud of this but I wish I could have got a time slip to see what I pulled. It happens again in two weeks so hopefully I can get a slip then. My mods are in my sig.

Not too bad, I'd expect a higher trap, but reading the speedo manually is usually hard to do. I'd be willing to bet it's quite a bit faster than that though! What are the specs on the turbo?

it has a 1.15 hotside and a .60 comp. in a couple weeks I should get a time slip. Also in the part of new mexico I am in it is around a alt. of 4600 so from my understanding that can make a good differnce.

I have a similar turbo...TO4b .60/1.15 on my turbo and trapped in at 94 in the 1/8. Thats on a turbo motor/standalone and what not tho. You will probably be pleasantly surprised by the trap you get when you have a slip.
