Not bad. Where did ya run, Music City Raceway? Your trap speed does show a faster ET in your future. My GSL-SE/TII swap ran an 8.89 at 79mph at huntsville and you are trapping 2mph faster.

i meant i wasnt lauching hard. but anywhere from 2.1-2.3 but i hit 84 mph @a 9.011. need a tune still and my tps harness has a bad spot in it or something, it will go in and out some times then if i wiggle the harness it will come back to life??
but turbo doesnt spool fast at a launch ?? thinking the ebc is hooked up backwards. likethe vacuum lines are on the wrong things i.e wastegate vs. compresssor housing nipple? btw its a greddy pro fec type s if anyone has the book of instructions to look at?

Yeah, you could definently pick up some time on your 60ft. I have found that for the most part, you trap speed remains close to the same despite your launch as long as you don't miss a gear or something. I have run times varying from 10's to my 8.89 pass with trap speed being about the same, 78-80mph, with the 60ft being the key. My 10's runs had 2.5 60ft's, vs. 1.9x 60ft with my 8.89 pass. Some Drag Radials could help alot. Thats what cut my 60ft's from a best of 2.3's to 1.9's. Good luck in the future.

Yeah, I might be wrong but I Think you should be running about a second faster with your setup. Practice makes perfect, just keep trying nothing will help you more than getting to know your car. I mean we can give you tips but it seems you already know what to do. Try launching between 4500 and 5000 rpm and see were that takes you. Good luck and I know you will be posting lower numbers soon.

JP

PS. I ran 8.62 with a stock turbo, intercooler, 550/850, SAFCII, RTEK1.5.

ive noticed my bnr stage 3 doesnt spool well in lower gears too. But in higher loads, like 3rd or 4th, it starts to really come alive. i havent had mine down to a strip yet, so i dont know if i will have your same problem though

The 90mph is a good mph, but I'm thinking not a low 12. An 8.3 is only good for a low 13, high 12 second pass.

Until you learn how to drive, I can see a low 13 at 108

It doesn't do well off the line, because you don't know how to launch....IE learning to drive. Not being an ***, just letting you know that you need to work on your launch.
