Midnight mayhem

I'll be leaving for vegas in about an hour to go to midnight mayhem. Ill be taking my s4 na so dont get too excited. Im really interested in seeing what it will run on the 1/4.

Basic info on the car is:
88 GXL-cold air-RB header straightpipe-just put new plugs in. although my 6pi system just took a dump. Ill do some runs with them closed and some with them wired open.

according to my poor mans compression test, I have excellent compression.

any predictions on my pass time or trap speed?

Ill have pics and timeslip up tomorrow Im hoping.

R/T ... .342
60' ... 2.362
1/8 ... 10.678
MPH ... 65.01
1/4 ... 16.624
MPH ... 83.85

I expected a bit more out of it, but im still very happy with what it ran. I fixed the 6pi before I left to the track, but it still constantly needs adjusting, so I dont know how much more can be attributed to that. looks like im going to get to port/turbo swap if I want the awesomeness.

On a side note: was anyone from this forum there and riding in a light blue s5 t2?
Last run of the night, said person blew their motor or clutch. I was sad. I feel for you.

Ill see if I can get someone to scan the slip tomorrow.

Well, I got a few things planned, but im done dropping money in my 7 for the time being, but when this motor pops (which shouldnt be for awhile, still have strong compression) I want to do a pretty big streetport and get an aluminum flywheel, undrive pulleys. rtek7 or safc. I also need to keep up with basic maitnence anything that can get this car into the 15's and ill be completly satisfied.

If I still have more money (or if i can find a CHEAP turbo motor), I would like to do a t2 swap. Id actually rather do the t2 swap, just a matter of find a cheap rebuildable t2 motor.

Roen's dyno runs in his n/a's suggested that the Rtek7 is actually THE best choice of engine management over the SAFC.
