Here's my weak time.

Man, I really suck. This is the 2nd time I've ever dragged, first time in this car. It's an '88 vert with an S5 TII drivetrain swap.

It was breaking up/bogging at WOT in 3rd and 4th because I was boosting past what my car was tuned for. I was hitting 20psi instead of 18 which is what the boost controller is supposed to be set at. I'll have to check it out, I'm still learning about the car.

Thats a pretty good launch! What kind of tires? Should be low to mid 12 second car. I ran a 12.0 @ 116mph on a BNR stage 3, however I am in a base model so no power windows, no rear wiper, still N/A drivetrain...so probably a couple hundred pounds less.

Be careful...drag racing can get addicting!

BFG G-Force Sport's

The vert is heavy, I really wish the boost controller was working properly because that would have been a good pass if it was breaking up.

I don't know how the thing got out of wack, I changed the BOV but I don't think it should have caused it to be 2-3 psi off.

It was fun and I was hoping to hit low to mid 12's. The closest strip is about an hour away, I don't think I'll get addicted. I had too much gun drifting and I bought this car to fill the void until I get my GTUs back together. I'm sorry you couldn't make the cruise man, you probably could've given me some good pointers.

There is always next time to get that "best pass"

How does drifting compare to anything else you've done? I want to try it but I am afraid to beat on my car that hard...I feel like I would rather get a beater n/a and do it to something like that.

I'm gonna try and get the car back together for the fall cruise....unless it breaks again.......

Thats not a bad pass IAN, considering you were getting break up/boost issues!
