G-tech Pro: conservative & brutally honest
So a discounter on e-bay is selling G-tech's at $50.
I get one & check it out.
Let's see 3220 lbs..
What? - Only 170 net hp?
Maybe if I compensate for drag & powertrain losses by factoring in a higher weight?
Hey - at 6000 lbs I should get some amazing numbers..

I was thinking about getting one, then gettin my car dynoed (when i get the TII that is ) and adjusting the weight till the G-techs results match the dyno's, whaddya think ? I have read though that the g-techs are only good at telling whether or not a certain mod/tuning helped out, not for actual numbers that you can compare with other people/brag about. Obviously you wouldn't wanna brag !

I bought one on ebay a week ago. My NA vert is running 17s on it with a full tank of gas and sub in the trunk. I totally understand your brutally honest thing.
Make sure when you tip it vertical it reads 1.00. If it doesn't, open it up and there is a screw on the inside between the two capacitors that you adjust to calibrate it. Mine was off quite a bit. (it read 1.04 or so)
