don't worry about your brother's nova, i had a lighter '69 elcamino with a stroker 390 pushing close to 400 to the wheels and my 7 when i was only pushing 270whp was faster than it was with the locker and 315's with the ratchet shifter and turbo 350 with a shift kit.
