dyno'd my 2nd gen.

mods in sig.

149 whp, on 93 octane/no traling coil/bad rear brakes.

That night after dyno my rear right brake was locking up and smoking.
Should make 160 easy with traling coil and brakes fixed.

I also took afm cover off and it looked it was 100% open on wot.

That's a horrible reason to run 93 octane if it's true.

my timing was messed up on my old n/a car and it used to run lean up top all the time (like 14:1) and it never detonated. that was on 87. it put 172rwhp down

it read 12.8 on dyno wideband.
93 to be on safe side, what if you fill up with old bad gas?

149 is nothing special, but on 2 plugs thats pretty good. when i fix my trailing coil, ill see if it adds %10 power like what people say.

In a NA street car, you will probably never run into a situation where a bad tank of gas will be an issue. I don't remember where I read it, but the NA cars are rated for 84 octane (comes close with 87 octane + oil).

Did you do any sort of tuning? I didn't see it mentioned.

just played with timing with a rusult of power loss.

i filled up with bad as once already.

oil = no more then 0.5 octance reduction.

The 787B ran on 84 octane, I haven't read anything about it other than that though...
