'86 Sport (still N/A) slip

Basic I/H/E with some weight redux.

Notes:
Full tread commuto-tires
approx. 2670lbs including my 200lb fat ***.
Wheel horsepower unknown, last tested 120.1whp before more mods.
My car loves wheelhop, it just plain doesn't "burn out."

YES, I know I redlighted.

Any commentary is welcome. (Note: the 17.0 in the lane next to me was an S5 N/A)

It was a series 5 GXL (I think it was a '90) with the air pump disconnected... meaning no aux. ports or VDI. I spent a while talking to him trying to explain how bad that was, and what to do to fix it.

I don't use the burnout box, there is no point with street tires... however, yes, my car will spin tires in the wet no problem.

Don't worry, I get CRAZY *** wheel hop even with stiffer springs/shocks and better/wider tires. I even have a pinion snubber to try and help, didn't. Soon I'll be putting my solid diff mount in to see how that helps, it's supposed to clear up all the problems, we'll see.

Anyways, I still managed to run a 15.3 with the shittiest and craziest wheel hop you've ever seen launching at 6k rpms My 2.3 60' is proof of the bad wheel hop, if I could have gotten that down to 2.0 I would've broken 14's probably with stockport and just intake mods (cone filter, ported manifolds, tb mod) and full exhaust. Now I have even more ported manifolds, heavily ported tb, and CAI. I'll be going back soon hopefully to get some new numbers, and I'll let you know if the solid diff mount indeed fixed my problems

I've been thinking about doing that so I won't have to worry about a broken diff mount later, along with a rear strut bar. I hope that works.

OK, let's see. Pretty much everything, mods wise, is listed in my "garage" page.

As for weight redux, the stock weight is listed at 2625. For my car, with only an E-fan mod (next to no weight change,) it weighed out at 2580 pounds with about 3/4 tank of gas. Remember, the listed weight is the same for all '86 models, Base to GXL.

In all, I pulled out:

-Airpump, Split air pipe
-Stock manifold, cats and exhaust (replaced with a custom header, CS midpipe and CS single exhaust)
-A/C (everything, engine bay and in cabin)
-rear insulation mat and cargo straps
-airbox and snorkel (replaced with a cone filter)
-Spare tire, jack, and tool kit
-1/4 tank gas

There is a little more I can't recall right now, but you get the point- I haven't done too much.

Hell, the thing kept up with a 10AE TII on the highway the other day.
