Went to the drag strip...slept at the tree

Ran the 1/8th mile and here were my times.

Reaction: 0.771 (best was 0.186 for me)
60': 1.999 (ran consistent 2.11)
E.T: 8.167 @ 90.066 mph

Had hella trouble on the tree...but this was my first time evar at the strip.

What would be my extrapolated 1/4 mile time be? Say, if I got my best reaction time applied to the run above? Would I be in the mid 7s

Thanks

Reaction time has nothing to do with your ET. Other than that, 8.1 in the 1/8 is pretty good, I would guess mid to high 12's

Look through the "time slips and dyno" section at the top of the 3rd gen section, see if you can find some cars in the 11's and what their 1/8 times were.

I have run the 1/8th here in NC and 8.1 is pretty good. My best time was a 7.89 with a 2.3 60 ft and .623 R/T. I suck at launching. 1/8th is fun because you can get alot of runs in, in a short amount of time.

Its weird for me to be posting over here since i own a FC but i run the 1/8th a lot and was looking for a conversion to the 1/4, i found one and its pretty close, but not perfect. It'll give you a pretty good estimate.

1/8th ET + .22 / .655 = Estimated 1/4 time

8.167 + .22 / .655 = 12.806

Nice.
