Went to the 1/4 track tonight.. results
I headed out to the drag strip tonight, and of course on the way there I noticed a boost leak
Figures car would act up the one night I need her to run good. I could only hold 11psi, stock sequential, other mods in sig. Not to make any other excuses for the poor times, but track conditions were terrible. I had talked to a few others who are regulars there, and they all told me that they have never had traction issues so much as tonight. Anyway,Here is the breakdown of my run:
60' - 2.25
330- 5.858
1/8 - 8.74
1/8MPH - 84.7
1000 - 11.19
1/4 - 13.2
1/4MPH - 108.1
Im sure if I would have been running my normal 14psi , and if I could have gotten any traction, it wouldve been a high 12 sec run.. but ifs and buts dont count, so there ya go

With better traction a 2.0 60ft is easily achievable on street tires, which would put you down to a 12.7 or so. Add in the increased boost, and I think you're lookin' at mid 12s
fact is u need proper equipment when drag racing if u want to get times that are more indicative of what the car can truly do. i am refering to drag radials or better yet et streets. they are a must if u want "good" times.

Yep, not trying to make any excuses, my launches sucked and if I wouldve spent a few minutes going over my car before I went out I wouldve spotted the boost leak ( IC coupler slipped off, I was using cheap hose clamps) I wouldve done much better. The track DID suck though, but oh well, always next time
