PFS tuned GT42R makes 643rwhp!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Went back today for some final tuning and Ray made some huge power! At 31psi it made 643.9rwhp and 520 torque! Holy ****, even if I can't drive, I gotta run 9's!!!! HUGE PROPS to Ray. The man is a wizard. This is all on a PFS street port and C116.

Damn, that is a lot of power. Would you ever consider going 20B, Ernie?

I don't have much experience with the Mazda trannys. I am used to LS1 swaps that use T56 transmissions. They are practically indistructable. However, even the V8 swap guys have to deal with rear end longevity. I have broken my TII rear once already with 360RWHP.

The trick to keeping the trans and rear alive is in the launch. You can't just side step the clutch and hope for the best. I have had really good luck with launching my FC by preloading the driveline at the line by lightly slipping the clutch. You need to have line lock or use the e-brake to do this.

Good luck!

Andrew

Thanks guys. I appreciate the compliments. Hopefully this spring I'll be able to say I have a 700rwhp RX7! Thats the goal. Ray Wilson of PFSupercars is building me a bridegported motor with a few other goodies to be able to withstand 40 psi!!
