i always loved the sound of that turbo.

i just dont like its power band, peaky as hell (7k?!?! wtf!!!)

T51r doesn't have anti-surge. The KAI I am using hit peak power at 7700RPM... with an assjob port. I'll be using a T51r SPL BB on the newest setup.. the turbo just sounds amazing. After using the T51r, I'd never use another turbo for huge numbers.

Hey guys glad you like the car just alittle about the car, as said it is a 13b with polished standard ports, Guru stud kit, 3mm seals, clearanced rotors, HKS T51R, Titanium exhaust, ATS twin plate carbon clutch, Os Giken 5 speed gear set and a mazdaspeed 4.3 1.5 way lsd. The car also has Buddy Club 18inch wheels, ganador carbon mirrors,feed carbon side skirt Mazdaspeed front bar Re Amemiya wing and a Re Amemiya rear carbon diffuser which was not fitted for the dyno for obvious clearance issues.

I debated on using the GT45r, but the spl will do fine.

Like I said, my port was an assjob. You had a decent engine.

Anyway whatever happened to that FD? Did it ever sell for what you were asking?

It sold back in November to someone in SC. I found out a few days ago that he blew his first pass down the track, the comp wheels came off

He got the turbo fixed, next pass down the track....... motor blew

I've never talked to him since he picked the car up. I thought he would have atleast called.

It brought upper mid 20's.

He blew the ******* compressor wheel off??!?? LOL!!! Probably 2 stepping the **** out of it and blew it to bits.... what an idiot.

Thats such a waste man, that car was beautiful. Should have thrown a haltech in there and made more power =P

I could never sell my fd to some douche, even if it was pulling in 30k. I say that now, but if someone waived that cash in my face I'd probably let it go.
