Unhappy damn..i suck at drag

couldnt keep traction this weekend at the strip...my best time in a stock 93 with exaugst, dp,street tires was 13.9 at 99 mph...sad it was my first time at the track so i guess it could have been worse....is that a ok time for a first timer in a stock 7? what should it be running with a good driver if not?

good time...for a 1st timer. i ran a 13.7 bone stock my first time. no dp, and no cb, but i did have 245's in the rear so that helped with traction

dragging is not that easy the first few times--but you get better as you do it more.

That isnt too bad, your trap time seems weak though. Hows your compression? Work on how fast you can shift, youll be suprised how many MPH you can pick up in the 1/4 by working on your shifts. For comparison I ran back when mine had pretty much the same mods as you, I ran a best of 13.5@105. That still isnt "great", but not bad for me trying to launch with half-bald 225 Kumho 712s.

i power shift the frik out of my tranny...no problems with the shifts...just the starts...she doesnt want to do anything but spin the **** out of the tires no matter if i burn the clutch on launch or just start from dead idle...i was taking her to about 4 grand then slowly letting the clutch with throttle modulation to keep it from spinning...i know ill kill my clutch like that but its about time for a better one anyways...i dont know if ill even be able to drive it at the track without drag radials once the to4s is on there...i guess ill keep on practicing....the car is amazing froma 20 roll but sucks at a dig...
