Canadian 20B Stage 1 Low boost

Hey Everyone,

This is my FD with a 20B Swap. We ran out of fuel pump (Single Walbro) at only 13 psi which prevented us from going higher. There's only a few nice weekends left of Summer here in Canada and I look forward to putting together a better fuel system for next year and turning it up further!

Nice! What WHP and torque did you make at 13 psi?

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the interest!

As always the car is an endless work in progress. My ETA to have that car operational was long overdue and in an effort to maximize what little I had left of summer I decided to run it as is for a while. I really should take the time to do a proper build thread but I didn't take nearly enough photo's throughout the build.

I purchased the car around June/July 2016. It had been sitting for 6+ years and needed some serious love.

These are a couple pictures I took as it came to me

I was hoping to have it driveable for May Long Weekend 2017, but I missed that goal.

Over the course of apx 14 months with some major help from friends and family we had restored the car about 70% of the way. Personally the engine bay is probably my favorite part.... and somehow I don't have any good photo's of it! At the end of summer 2017 I had my buddy Nick paint and fit my Mazdaspeed GTC Front bumper, and FEED Hood and fix the front fenders. I kept it black as that was the easier option for fast turn around. In all honesty I'm not a huge fan of black RX7's and they are WAY too high maintenance for me! I will likely repaint the entire car in the future. We could sadly only turn it up to around 13psi @ 470whp as we ran out of fuel pump (Single Walbro 274 450lph pump) Here's how it sits right now:

Plans for 2018:
-Redo complete fuel supply system include intank fuel pump(s) and PTFE Hoses from the tank to the engine bay and re-tune and turn it up!
-Repair or replace 20B Subframe and welded OEM Steering knuckles (Old design with welded knuckles and poorly built subframe)
-Build Front under-tray / bumper support system
-Clean up interior and install simple deck
-Replace or repair rear muffler to stop melting my bumper!
-Drive the car and enjoy it!

Here's a pic with the Feed Hood:
