Best run of the night.. 13 flat @ 112..

So I took my FD for the track for the first time tonight.. first things first.. I suck at driving. My shift from 2nd to 3rd takes about a year. My 5th gear synchro is already on its way out so I don't want to make it any worse. Also.. I can't get traction to save my life.. I don't hook up untill about 5-6k in 2nd.

Anyways.. my best time:

Reaction: .094
60 ft : 2.210
330 ft : 5.759
1/8th ET: 8.655
1/8 MPH : 86.92
1000' : 11.018
1/4 ET : 13.056
1/4 MPH : 112.79

Among this run there was a buncha 13.1's, 13.3's, and when my car heat soaked I ran a few 13.6's. I really need to do something about traction, I need to get my car re-aligned for sure.. (just installed s-tech springs), and drop the tire pressure again so I can get into the 12's. All in all a fun night

Nice trap for the power. What kind of mods do you have?

Nice time. What rpm are you launching at? I used to get mad wheel spin. I have about as much launching finesse as a semi driver.

I put down 285rwhp at 12psi with a downpipe and catback.

I haven't dynoed since everything else.. oh yeah and I'm running a base map on my power fc.

I was launching at like 2k just dropping the clutch.. its wearing out pretty bad with the added hp so I wasn't slipping it.. thats why my 60' times sucked and I didn't get traction. =/

Wow. Interesting. I was launching at about 3,500, and trying to slip it a little..........with varying results. I even dumped it a couple of times just to see what would happen.
I'm just really bad i guess.

I was afraid to slip it at all becuase my clutch hasn't been doing so great lately. I'm sure if I slipped the clutch and lowered my tire pressure a bit I would have hooked up better.
