781RWHP Street Car!!

Just got off the phone with Ray. Just put down 781rwhp@37psi, all turbo. Changes that have been made.
1. AEM stand alone
2. Two more fuel injectors
3. Tuned with straight water injection (No meth, per NHRA rules)
4. Q16 fuel

37psi All turbo. Only problem is fuel pressure started to drop. So after the Engishtown event and all is in one piece (hopefully!), Ray will swap my two Nipendenso pumps with a Weldon. Major Props to Ray of PFSupercars. BTW, this engine is almost a year old with more than 100 dyno runs and multiple track passes.
Here is the dyno sheet....

Your the man. 19 more hp to go to crack that number!!!!

Howard Coleman 04-25-08 07:55 AM

congrats to Ray on another homer. i find it quite interesting that Ray is using the AEM ECU. lots of people have not been able to make it properly work yet it does offer enhanced tuning options.

i note you are making 200 rwhp at 4400... that's compares well w many sheets. generally 200 is made between 4000 and 5000. given your mega topend and pretty decent bottom the overall tune looks especially impressive.

do you drive your car much other than at the track?

hc

Thanks Howard. No, I don't drive it much on the street especially with the chute on it now,lol..BTW, if you send the AEM back to them and get the free updates, it apparently fixes any problems they had. Ray seems to really like it and the features it has.

Sure as hell is awesome to have that much horsepower, as long as you can harness it and ultimately drive it.

4CN A1R 04-25-08 02:25 PM

pretty sweet ernie

you should let me know the next time your in a track event. i'm only about an hour away and i have yet to see your fd. if you could throw out a myspace bulletin that would also be great...

gainer_reniag 04-29-08 08:03 AM

zack4173 05-01-08 07:36 PM

dang thats crazy. I cant wait to see what that thing does at the track.

FASTorBUST 05-05-08 09:19 AM

You have to make another pass video...I have the one where you left late against the 350Z but somehow I think that video just doesn't do your car justice.

89t295k 05-05-08 01:59 PM

Wow , nice job.
That street car/race car line is getting blurry. You must have removed your air pump belt to free up all that power right...J/K

What king of plugs and ignition can stand that kind of abuse?

rosati 05-12-08 11:15 PM

Congrats to you, Sir, Those are the numbers some can only dream of......

Cough Cough!

I assume it will be a full blown dragster and not a street drivable car? I'm guessing you'll be over the 1000 whp mark? g/l

Wankel Warrior 11-02-11 08:17 PM

Wow! Thats awesome numbers!

Mr.Steve-O 01-24-12 07:00 PM

ROT8WA 02-06-12 04:16 AM

Can I ask why you sold it....And do you think it had any more legs left in it??

Could you possibly share some graphs of spool rates/ psi v's rpm as you have a shitload of power UTC. damn impressive.....what fuel/ fuels was that on BTW

BlowenByTwins 06-03-12 05:10 PM

Any issues with the AEM walking timing?

ErnieT 07-07-12 03:40 PM

Never had any problems with the AEM what so ever. The Haltech is known for timing accuracy not the AEM.

I've known the Haltech to do that and I have only heard about the AEM also doing it as well but I have yet to actually see it happen for myself. I'm just cautious considering the power level I'm going for, but if you haven't had any issues at your level then that gives me hope that I should be fine. :icon_tup:

ErnieT 07-09-12 06:12 AM

Oh, I had plenty of problems, just not with the ecu lol...
