And even at that if you use the so called hp calculator to compare to a dyno Tom94rx-7 still has not hit over 500hp according to the calculator, but we all know that its making 528hp or more. Most dont realize that to get a hp# calculation based on the track run IT HAS TO BE A PERFECT RUN
My last run on 18psi i trapped 120. guess that makes the car like 300hp hehe. never the less i will sort it all out this spring and summer on the dynojet
It doesn't have to be a perfect run. If you bog your car it doesn't make a 10mph difference like people seem to think. Its a few mph at best unless you have a
GT42r and are the worst driver in the world. Just because a car makes xxxwhp on the dyno doesn't mean its making that going down the track. If your tune is bad it can be pulling timing which will kill your MPH. It can be fine on the dyno for one quick pull but on the street/track its a different story. I have had a dynojet for over 12yrs and everycar that comes off the dyno I can tell within a few mph what the trap speed will be. If I take those same cars and put there timeslip info and weight into the horsepower calculator its pretty damn accurate. Not when using the ET method but only when using the trap speed method.

The rx7 doesn't pull timing like other cars may do. Weather conditions and tire pressure also are a factor in trap speeds, so many variables..

also when I did 128.90 mph with the stock turbos I had a lot more air in the rear tires (my gauge was way off) compared to when I went 10.39 @ 131 miles per hour with a lot less air in the tires to get traction. I was doing 133 before I realized I had too much air in the tires.
