For you guys on Victoracers...

I have exactly 8 runs on an old set of Yokohama RS008II and just bought a new set of Victoracers 245/45/16. I ran about 20 events on street tires and so am still feeling it out on slicks.

Anybody care to share some pressures for me to baseline? Running the stock sway bars with adjustable Konis. 1/16" toe in front and rear, 1.5 degrees negative camber front and rear and 6 degrees castor on the front. Thanks.

I also have a set of Hoosiers on the way, but plan to run the Kumhos first.

Any first hand comments would be great.

I don't have my suspension allignment setup "handy" but I can tell you some general things. I typically run a 3 pound differential between the front and rear (35 lbs front/32 rear). I've seen people run both higher and lower preassures with these tires on the RX7. Supposedly running the lower end of the spectrum results in higher overall grip but the tires seem to be easier to drive with the higher preassures. As for reference, I spoke with an ex SS National Champion when he was running an RX7 with Kumhos and he ran 32 lb front/ 29 rear. He was pretty honest about sharing the information (not that he needed to worry about me catching him). My car is currently running stock shocks and front bar (it's fast enough to allow me to be competitive at the regional level of competition).

Thanks. So far on streets and the Yoks I end up with the front pressures two to three pounds higher no matter what the conditions; turns in really nicely that way.

Thanks. I will give yours a shot first time out but have to use up the Yokohamas I have mounted first.
