CA WTB: Coilovers

I am looking to buy some used coilovers for my fd. I just want to see what you guys recommend for a good price. I'm not really sure what to get but I want some not too expensive but that will also satisfy me and give my car a good stance. Give me input. Thanks

Anything with a good shock dyno curve and that's not made in taiwan or china.

What's your budget? ditto.

gotta start there if you want a helpful answer.

Nobody here is going to have the ability to judge the condition of the used set you buy. So we can say buy some Arogastas, you get a great deal but find out they're blown.

Used might not be your best option. You might want to get a good shock/spring combo that will provide you with dependable performance for years to come, on a budget of course.

I think you should get

Tokico D Spec and Swift springs. All distributed locally to you and that stuff is so nice.

I can't even get you stance coilovers for $1000.00. Below stance's I don't really have anything to recommend other than Dspec and Swift. This is an amazing setup.

But if you want to slam your car then you're less interested in performance and more interested in looks.

My thoughts exactly. Just get some lowering springs for your stock shocks - they will fit your budget and your goals.

Dont waste your money on any coilovers less then $1000. Your best bet would to be to get ground control lowering springs as unlike other springs, they allow you to lower your car to your specs not a pre-determined drop. I can get you a set of hks hyper-d's from Japan, for right around $1000, but they are used and you run the risk of them being blown - we do offer a $200 warranty for oil seal replacement if they are blown on arrival.
