will this wheel work

I am looking at buying a set of stern ST-2's in 18x 8.5 and 18x9.5. They both have a +32 offset and was wondering if this will work okay with a totally stock suspension or will I need spacers. For tires looking at p zero nero 275/40/18 and 245/40/18. Help me out please. stern st-2.jpg

+32 is too small of an offset... ideally you want something closer to +45 or +50.

I'd wait for the experts to confirm this though...

Not sure youll prolly get more answers in the suspension/wheels/tires forum though. Those are nice wheels, I was looking at the same ones a few months ago actually. How much for the set if you dont mind me asking?

They won't fit. Spacers will make it worse. Your tires sizes are wrong. Please use the search function. Concise enough?

Yep, +32 is too low, front *and* rear. +45 - +50 would be ideal, however, you can go as low as +37 for the fronts, and ~+43 for the rears and be minimally safe (tire size dependent of course).

Yes, and I don't know why a lot of people think that spacers help low offset wheels. If you think about it, spacers move the wheel outward, which "lower" the offset even more.

You guys are all right of course. I did some more math and realized that spacers would make things worse. Thanks for the replys all.

I found out that they make this rim up to a +45 offset. I am also wondering should I get different offset in the front and back considering I am running an inch wider in the back?

If you go +45 all around, it shouldn't make any difference, but it depends on the wheel widths (too wide isn't always a good thing). Do you know what the widths, front and rear are?

If you mean 18x8.5/18x9.5, all +45 offset, that is a GREAT fitment. Proper tire sizes would be 235/40 and 265/35 18.
