Will these fit on my FC?

Hey Guys,

Need some help with this before i buy anything...

Looking to squeeze the following below on a 88 vert for a show car... the great question is WILL IT FIT?

18x8" (40mm offset) for the front with 225/45/18's

18x9" (38mm offset) for the rear with 245/40/18's

Anyone with some feedback?

Wheels are fine, I think the tires are too tall. Id suggest 225/40r18 fronts and 255/35r18 rear. You can fit the 255 no problem, if you want to stock with the 245 go with a 35 or 40 series sidewall, 35 being the closest to stock diameter.

Will it fit?

I am more worried about the offsets. I am worried that I will end up rubbing against the caliper or hub assembly.

40MM off set in the front

38MM off set in the rear

Anyone have something similar or sure that the offset will fit...

I can always reduce tire size and run low profiles... so I am not worried about the tires....

Rxmfn7 knows what he's talking about. The rims shouldn't rub, but the tires will.

I think 225 may be too big for the front.

I have 225 40 r18's on mine with 40 mm offset and they run just fine, no rubbing whatsover. Im not sure about the 245's though, you might have to roll your fenders

If you did rub, it wouldnt be there. You would be rubbing the spring perch or spring. I would recommend a 5mm spacer up front just to be safe.

As long as you are referring to the back, they will clear fine. Ive ran a 255/40r17 on an FC from everything from a +41 to a +32, each had ample clearance. The largest Ive had up front was a 235/40r17, and that was with a 32mm offset.
