will supra wheels fit on an RX7? Do they have the same offset ? or a safe offset?

My rx7 has donuts on the front and crome stock wheels in the back.

What are the tire sizes in front and back

Thanks

Why would you want Supra wheels on a FD. Buck up and buy and some nice aftermarket wheels.

I just wanted to know if they would fit...

stock supra rims have center holes which are a bit too small. you could always be hardcore and port them... you could also port your engine hehe

No offense but why don't you go outside and see for yourself. I've heard that the hub is too small also but it can fit with a little work.

It's below freezing in Cincy right now... So it's easier just to ask a harmless question on a message board.

And the wheels he wants to put on the 7 aren't stock supra wheels, there aftermarket wheels that came on his mkiv when he bought it

I don't know, but if you have a Supra and just bought a RX7 sitting right there in front of you, why won't you just:

1. Jack both cars

2. Take a rim from the Supra

3. Take off a donut off from the Rx7

4. And Put the Supra wheel on the RX7 to see if it fit????

Take it easy on the guy.

Stock FDs run 225/50s on 16x8 wheels all around.

Yes, the hub needs to be worked a little bit. A local friend uses them for his track rims (since they are wider than the stock rims and cheap).

Yeah, you'll need to "port" the Supra Mk IV wheel centerbores to fit on FD3S hubs.

However as a sidenote, they fit FC hubs without modification. Offsets are completely wrong though. Carl

Those are both the same car. He just painted the rims black for the next track event so he wouldn't have to worry about the brake dust looking nasty.

I'm not sure of the size, but that's RTS3GEN's car. You can PM him and ask him. He won't have a problem answering any questions about them.

EDIT: Also, those are his track rims only. He runs some "bling bling" rims on the street.

Will the non-turbo Supra 16x9 work in the front without clearance issues ? I'd like to put 255 or 265 tires all around . . .

How about Kumho 710's in 265/45R16 at TireRack and at Kumho site ( http://www.kumhousa.com/Products/Ptn...=1&PtnID=EV710 ):

265/45R16 8.5 - 10.0 25.2 11.2 on 10.0 4 30/C/A 24

Hoosier RS304's 255/50 ZR16 (25.8" diameter), are a little tall:
but Hoosier's 275/45 ZR16 can fit on a 9-inch rim (again both from TireRack):

Also Kumho Victoracer V700 and Ecsta V700 have 265/45-16 sizes and the 16x9 will not clear the front calipers without modding the inside of the rim. I have 2 sets of non-turbo supra wheels ive gotten the centerbore enlarged for this reason. I found them really cheap and thought they would be a good/cheap way to get good grip a the autoX. I havent acutually modded the 9's to fit the front cause the local autoX has been canceled since hurricane Ivan 6 months ago. Its not much metal to grind away and it doesnt appear that it will weaken the wheels
